Commercial Foundations

Structural footings, pads, mat slabs, and stem walls for commercial new builds, additions, and tenant build-outs. Engineered drawings, code-compliant forming, properly reinforced, inspection-ready.

What We Build

Every commercial building lives or dies on its foundation. The pour below grade determines how the slab carries load, how the structure ages, and whether the building owner ever sees a callback. 008 Concrete builds foundations that don't move.

We work from engineered drawings — spread footings, column pads, mat slabs, stem walls, and grade beams. Rebar set to spec, embeds placed accurately, and the right mix design for the loads above. Greater Atlanta GCs, developers, and commercial property owners.

Built From the Ground Up

Most foundation failures trace back to shortcuts in site prep. 008 Concrete starts every job with proper undercut, compaction, and grade — because the work below grade matters as much as the pour. Georgia's red clay is unforgiving, and bad prep shows up months after the slab is poured.

Jake and Chuck split every major foundation project. One runs the pour on-site. The other coordinates submittals, inspections, and pour-day logistics with the GC. Two owners means your foundation gets direct attention from experienced hands — not a rotating crew with no leadership.

Commercial Foundation FAQ

008 Concrete builds spread footings, isolated column pads, mat foundations, structural slabs, and stem walls for commercial new builds, additions, and tenant build-outs across Greater Atlanta. We work from engineered drawings, set rebar to spec, and pour with the right mix design for the load.

Timelines depend on footprint and complexity. A single-tenant commercial pad commonly forms and pours in 2-3 weeks. Larger structural foundations with mat slabs and multiple inspection stops can run 4-8 weeks. Concrete reaches strength in 28 days but the structural trade can typically follow within 7-10 days. We commit to a schedule in writing before we mobilize.

Yes. Every commercial foundation we pour runs against stamped drawings and the engineer's spec. We coordinate forming, rebar, inspection windows, and pour-day logistics with the GC's superintendent. Written submittals, RFIs, and as-builts on request.

Yes. 008 Concrete handles the full scope below grade — land clearing, mass grading, fine grading, undercut, compaction, and pad prep — before forming starts. One sub from raw lot to finished foundation means fewer handoffs and tighter quality control.
